Inauguration of Neighborhood Heads (RT) Across Ciantra Village Held in a Solemn Manner
PPRI / Bekasi — The Ciantra Village Government, South Cikarang Sub-district, Bekasi Regency, held the inauguration of Neighborhood Heads (Rukun Tetangga/RT) across Ciantra Village on Sunday, January 11, 2026. The event took place at the Ciantra Village Office and was led directly by the Head of Ciantra Village, Mulyadi Fernando.
The inauguration was attended by all elected RT heads from each area in Ciantra Village. The ceremony proceeded in an orderly and solemn atmosphere, attended by village officials, community leaders, and representatives of local residents.
In his address, Ciantra Village Head Mulyadi Fernando emphasized that RT heads play a strategic role as the front line of government services at the neighborhood level. He stressed the importance of synergy between RT heads, residents, and the village government.
“RT heads are the front guard who interact directly with the community. I hope the newly inaugurated RT heads will carry out their mandate with full responsibility and prioritize the interests of residents,” said Mulyadi Fernando.
He also urged RT heads to actively serve as a bridge between the community and the village government, particularly in conveying aspirations, complaints, and residents’ needs quickly and accurately.
Meanwhile, one resident of Ciantra Village, Sudi, considered the inauguration an important step in strengthening services at the neighborhood level. According to him, the role of RT heads is crucial in maintaining residents’ comfort and order.
“Hopefully, the new RT heads will be closer to the community and respond more quickly to issues in the neighborhood, because the RT is the first place residents bring their concerns,” Sudi said.
The inauguration of RT heads across Ciantra Village is expected to strengthen coordination between the village government and the community, as well as encourage the creation of an orderly, harmonious environment that supports sustainable village development programs.
